Terms of use

This website gives information about The Harbour Shot, links to our online bookings and lets you join our mailing list.

Bays are booked and paid for through Square, not this website. Our booking page links to Square, where bookings and payments are made, subject to our cancellation policy (set out on our How it works page and shown when you book). No payments are taken through this website. Joining our mailing list does not reserve you a place or entitle you to any prize.

These terms cover the website only. Entry to and play at the venue are governed by our Participant Terms and Conditions, which you accept when you book or at the point of sale.

The figure of $5,000 shown on this site is the prize for a qualifying hole in one on the main hole. The two secondary targets on the green each carry a $50 voucher from a precinct trader.

All prizes are subject to our Prize Rules. Those rules — including eligibility, what counts as a qualifying shot, how shots are verified, the limit of one main-hole prize per person per season, and how prizes are paid — govern every prize. Where anything on this site differs from them, the Prize Rules prevail.

Event details, including dates, hours and format, may change. In particular, we close the bays when the wind makes play unsafe.

If you submit your email address, you consent to us sending you occasional emails about The Harbour Shot. We handle that address in accordance with our privacy policy. You may unsubscribe at any time.

You must submit only an address you own or are authorised to use. We may remove any address from the list at our discretion.

Playing at The Harbour Shot is a recreational activity with inherent risks. Our risk warning appears at the foot of every page of this site and is displayed at the venue. Please read it before you play.

You must not:

• use the site for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems or its underlying data;
• submit false, automated or bulk sign-ups, or otherwise interfere with the sign-up form;
• disrupt or place an unreasonable load on the site or its infrastructure.

All content on this site — including text, layout, graphics, the “The Harbour Shot” name and logo, and the underlying code — is owned by or licensed to Waterfront Golf Ventures Pty Ltd and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current. We may change, suspend or withdraw the site or any part of it at any time without notice.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law where doing so would be unlawful.

Subject to that paragraph, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

• this site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind; and
• we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or any loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, arising out of your use of this site.

Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited (at our option) to resupplying the relevant services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.

The site may link to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your use of the site, and the “last updated” date shows when it last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place and of the Commonwealth of Australia.
